Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

It is great news! He is a huge part of our success and would've been greatly missed.

It's a credit to the progress of the club that we have a man of such callibre to attract such attention.

Thank god I was very worried about him leaving.

He does so much work that people probably don't realise and I think if he had gone it would have made a huge impact on us. I think he does so much work not just in coaching but in other areas such as motivation etc that makes a big difference.

Great news, as good as any of the new signings brought to the club. This must be a big boost for Sammy and the team.

:P :P I think that losing, as it would be a huge loss,Mark could have been a terrible start to the season.

BUT now a good start as the backroom staff are under praised and are key to further success.

I feel for him as it would have been a huge opportunity but their loss is or gain!!

:o :o COME ON MOOOOORECMBE:lol:

Feel for Mark, but selfishly delighted that he's staying.

Potentially the most important development of the summer. Unlucky for Mark, but if they asked him then didn't give him the job that's their loss and our enormous gain.

Mark staying is good news indeed, Sammy will be happy as will the players, cant help feeling a bit sorry for Mark though.

Couldn't have put my feelings any better than the above.

Really gutted for Mark and his family, but pleased for our club.

I'm sure Sammy is pleased on one hand but sorry on the other!
