I'm going for a 1-2 victory on the basis that we appear to be playing with a bit more confidence and freedom away from home.

Need to win this one to banish any thoughts of relegation.....but probably scrape a draw at best as they are a team fighting for their lives as JB will no doubt point out! 1-1 :(

Stewart for goalie, no worse than Stav and a waste of money to get a loanee in. Otherwise agree except for the midfield. I'd go with Goodall, Kenyon and Williams to start with Devitt substituting for Williams just after half time to freshen it up a bit (can't see Devitt fit for a full game yet). After last night, Flemmo and Drummond are more of a hindrance than a help and we need a bit more liveliness and enthusiasm that are best served by Kenyon and Williams.

I can only assume the optimists weren't there last night. With strikers too scared to shoot and taking too may touches, defenders too scared to tackle, and an anonymous midfield (assuming htey were actually on the pitch), I can't see us getting anything out of this, so...

Carlisle 3 - 0 Morecambe

Hope I'm very wrong, by the way.

The back 3 and wing backs pick themselves, a midfield of Williams/Goodall/Wright and a front two of Sampson and Mullin for me. Its about time Sampson was given a game or two to see if he can make a difference and hopefully Drummond will be left at home! Going for a scrappy but valuable point.

No Jack Redshaw.... :?: :?: :?:

Agree that it would be interesting to see Mullers and Sampson play together with Jack coming inside from either wing.... :?: :?: :?: It would certainly keep the Carlisle defenders on their toes trying to handle both big lads, assuming that they both played off the opponents back line and not in deep roles as has become the custom of late.

Carlisle 1-1 Morecambe

A horrendously awful game of football to watch, but we manage to earn a hard fought point.

Much improved display as we are away and home pressure absent. So long as we score first we'll win this. 1-0 to Morecambe :D .........sound confident but I'm not
