I'll take a punt on a 2-0 home win

Loving all the optimism, apart from miserable marky ;)

We must ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK.

I will be disappointed in under 3 MFC goals.

The only last two teams who have got 3 goals against Hartlepool have been Shrewsbury & Stevenage. The monkey hangers only narrowly lost to Bury, Portsmouth & Burton this year, so no easy game. With us vulnerable at the back Hartlepool will no pushovers.

Pessimistic about our home form, but not miserable, Chris... as BRS says, they may be bottom and can't score or win, but it is not often they get battered.
They will have a brick wall across their defence, just hope we don't set up with one across ours as well :?

I totally agree Marky. They maybe bottom but they are fighting for their lives. They will have done their homework on us. They have some decent players who can cause us problems, so it won't be easy as Jim likes to point out.

With Cheltenham not winning tonight it will give them more to play for tomorrow

Apparently Hartlepool haven't kept a clean sheet away from home in nearly a year so we must ATTACK them

Oh goodness... we're at home :( :( :( Surely we're going to follow our excellent away form in to a home game eventually?

My head is saying a stupid defeat and a busy evening on Shrimpsvoices.

But my heart says a nice & steady 2-0 win :D :D :D

Come on lads, make me happy via the medium that is Morecambe Player!

Of course, I think we are going to win. But I need some easy points in this prediction competition so I'm going to choose a contrarian 0-0 draw.

Come on you reds; make us proud today.

I think my first post sums it up that it should be 1-0 to us based on they do not score many, we don't conceded many and they have never kept a clean sheet.

However, I just hope we are not in bad moods tonight. If we can't score a few goals and keep a clean sheet at home to the worst side, we are in a bad way, regardless of them fighting for their lives. We know what we are capable of like when we beat crappy Stockport 5-0.

Don't think we have ever kept a positive goal difference under Jim? So will be an achievement.

Hope I'm wrong but talking to some Shrews fans they tell me that Hartlepool matched them when it came to the football, it was just the clinical scoring that won it for Shrewsbury.

Sorry Keith but im going to share your 2-0 pred, IF we can start like we did last week then we can score a couple in the first ten minutes and bite our fingernails for the remaining eighty . :o . Made even more nerve racking by our indecisive goalie. :?

Well John if you had been stood next to me behind his goal last week you would know exactly what I was talking about , because he was anything but confident , never coming for the ball or commanding his area which is why he got another justifiable bollocking from his captain .

I am in shock we could not score against them. They were better than us.

JB Christie has put a curse on the Globe. It has been a terrible 5 years of 6-8 wins a season. Our last season at CP gave us 14 home wins!!!

I am glad I still have the passion and desire to turn up and always will but I would like a new team and new management. ;)
