We battled hard at Lincoln earlier this year. A game where Twissy played a good part, looking strong and sharp. I would have him playing on Saturday instead of Danny, he could be just what Rene needs with accurate threaded passes and he has never been shy to have a crack at goal.

The Lincoln goalie was a serious time-waster, perhaps the North Stand could give him some stick right from kick-off and undermine his arrogance.

From what I saw of Lincoln 5 days ago or so, they'll pick you off like we did. Although it's hard to judge teams when playing against us because every team ups their game when playing Bradford City AFC and im not joking.

Their is a downside you know to being MASSIFF.

Nice to see so many people having Twissy back in their line up , it wasn't too long ago a lot of people on here were saying he was passed it and S.M . should have let him go to Bury. Personally i think he is just about our most intelligent footballer and played in the right position can score us vital goals which has cost us dearly this season . Hope to see him playing this Saturday if i can get back in time . Snow is coming down again but it doesn´t seem to bother them round here like it does back home. :D :D :D

I will happily hold my hand up and say I was one who (though he has been one of my favourite players in the last decade because of the reasons you give, Dave) thought his time had come.

But just before his injury I thought he was getting better and better with each game and coming close to his best. I hope he can take his chance now, stay fit and give it a massive go for the next couple of years.

I hope also that our side will take the disappointment of the Bradford result as a big spur for the Lincoln game.

Lincoln looked a decent side at their place with the ability to hit you on the break.

If we get too carried away with some pretty decent performances recently (albeit not always the best results) they will punish us badly.

We need to treat them as we did Darlington - a good side who we need to work really hard all over the pitch to overcome.

If we do I'm confident but anything even slightly less than that and they WILL turn us over.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

I too thought he was getting better and was gaining confidence , but still being played in the wrong position . I seem to remember just before his injury there was a substitution and Twissy was put in the middle for about 10 mins and caused their defence all sorts of problems . Im sure if he gets the chance that left foot will do some damage . ;)
