So, which board do I watch from now on? - is the old one getting pulled? - and if it is...when?

Soon. Very soon.

I would keep looking at both for now but expect the old one to crash and burn within the next few days.

Wont be a problem once the URL points here.

Great board this one.

I'm just trying to work out (or get someone else to work out  ) why some people are still experiencing log in problems and also set up the 'moderators' bit properly. Then Brian will re-direct the url.

I can't get the avitars working either for some reason?

just re set the size it will allow to mirror the setting on the 'Old' board as it was less allowance than previous. Try again.

my old avitar had gone too! I think I must have lost it when I moved www.ttpics.co.uk over from my old web space.

While talking about avitars I have never been able to tag one to my name. If anybody could help me with this it would be very much appreciated. I always get a message saying that the file is to large or something.

Will the old board be OK? I was quite attached to it. Is anybody looking after it?

Is it possible to have an avatar filesize slightly bigger than 7kb?

How much bigger do you need? Don't forget the bandwidth is already up to 15GB per month, so large avitars will boost that considerably. a couple of kb more probably won't be a problem.
