Typical the one game I can't to this season.

I had a feeling we would do ok today as we always do better against the better teams and darlo have been a bit off on their travels to lower teams.

A very good win thank goodness we got the three points as results haven't gone our way today but thankfully Gillingham have just got barnet back to a draw.

We would have been 18th behind Chester if we had lost today but instead we are now 3 points off midtable.

Sounds like Morecambe deserved the win today, which is very encouraging against a play-off side. Consistancy in these performances is now needed. Puts us in a good position for the match against Luton a win there and we'll have breathing space.

proof that attack is the best type of defence. I think if we'd have sat back like we have in the past then this could have been yet another draw.

Great three points

I unfortunately could not make it today due to work but listened to the game and what a result it was. It also sounded like overall we were the better team.

Well played Morecambe!

Best 2nd half performance of the season I think. Darlo are a very good side with loads of pace- think the pitch helped us as well but some great performances - Yates looked sharp on the wing and DC and Howe making a good partnership, good to see us running at the opposition rather than trying to play our way into the box. Bell also looked like scoring when he came on.

I think Neil Wainwright has a fantastic game and should have possibly been given Man of the match. By the way, it was Taylor ;)

Great 3 points and an encouraging display against a whinging, dirty Darlington side. I was impressed with Wainwright today but still think we need a proper left-sided player.

The first half was pretty poor. Neither side were able to get the better of the conditions and the whole atmosphere in the ground was a little flat.

Second half we came out all guns blazing from the start and played some good, attacking football. We were creating chances and making sure we were first to the ball every time.

I was surprised when we scored because from my position in the North Stand the defender seemed to have done just enough to force Rene to screw his shot wide. Obviously, it was more a deft finish.

Clearly Wainwright wanted to prove a point against his old side and played well throughout (except for a near suicidal back pass late on!).

It was a well earned, well deserved three points that gives us that little bit more breathing space again.

Excellent 3 valuable hard earned points, especially when some of those around us also won.

However still concerned that we don't get enough bodies in the box. It was so blatant after we went 1 up that I'm beginning to wonder if this is to instruction.

On the rare occassion when Rene gets a quality ball played into the box..hey ho he scores!

DC and Rene worked their socks off. Rene fittingly MoM.

Although Wainright had one of his better games and he had lots of possession he does not deliver the final ball and for me lacks the pace to beat players outright, athough he has plenty of ball control and skill. By the time he got in a good position he is usually covered by two players. I would agree it would be good to have a left sided winger

Well done lads for a battling team performance. All players played well and support for each other was a highlight for me.

Thought Darlo were a poor team considering their position in the league. They seemed keen on going to ground and whinging at the refs, though they had their touches of quality esp from the lad from Liechtenstein.

Wainwright had his best game of the season and Roche showed good handling skills once again. Fans rose to the challenge in the second half.

Well done all :D :)

Likewise where was Christie in the second half. He's not a qualified ref in disguise is he?

Christie was having trouble staying on his feet with the mud before the game so probably made an early exit to sup some milk :D
