Stafford Rangers are on the verge of folding due to financial problems. Ex England International and Stafford Rangers manager Steve Bull who was appointed to his first managerial role 10 months ago, recently joined the playing staff to help the club through these difficult times as they were struggling to put a team together as the chairman had terminated so many contracts. However, when Bull arrived to take the regular Thursday night training session he was asked to leave by chairman Jon Downing! Bull is quoted as saying "I feel a mixture of emotions from sadness to anger, sadness for the way players, fans and myself have been treated and anger towards the directors who think they can treat anyone in this way".
This is an absoloute disgraceful way to treat a human being.

It is with regret that, following a lengthy Board Meeting at 4.00 pm yesterday afternoon and as part of the financial restraints currently being introduced at the Club, the directors have decided they no longer require the services of Steve Bull MBE as football manager.
