Dinner (Tea for peasants) tonight (mini ramble)

Postby Aspers » Sat Jul 12, 2008 6:04 am

Last night I cooked Blue eyed cod in Garlic virgin olive oil(made myself)
with a sweet potato mash infused with chile and soy milk ( salt + pepper to taste)
and steamed broccolini and green beans (with a dash of soy and sweet chile sauce)
Spelt wholemeal bread to accompany (griddled)

Tonight
Garlic and Ginger infused free range chicken breast with onions, mushrooms soy and sweet chile sauce. on a bed of Basmati rice.
May throw some broc, green beans, cabbage and cauli in the stir fry.

Open a bottle of Wolfblass yellow label 2004, its been winking at me for a while now.

Finish up with a 1998 Stilton and a glass of Hennesy VSOP Blue.

I bought some spelt flour ($9.95 a kilo fecking thieves).
May make some bread this arvo.

I can see you lot having a quick gander at this before going to Morrisons for the Saturday morning fry up, Jammy buggers. After brekkie a stroll to visit Mick at the York to inbibe in bestest bitter.

I admit to feeling a trifle homesick.   If any of you ladies want to send me nude pictures of yourselves at Christie park to make me feel less homesick please feel free.

Thats the problem once I start on these ramblings I don't know where to stop.
Geelong V Freemantle on TV. thats like Fulham V Birmingham mildly interesting but not really that bothered.

I am alone in my huge 4 bedroom house at Bondi Junction, the Boss and sprogs are in Melbourne still, back Monday.

Watched a Rolf Harris doco on him painting the Queen, good lad is Rolf... for a twat.

Nice day here but a bit chilly, might go and sweep the back yard clean of possum shit and leaves.
Snow has been bucketing down in the Aussie Alps, check out the snowcams at Perisher Blue or Smiggins Hole.

Right going to do something, I know not what with someone, I know not whom.

Later

Victoria Market, what a wonderful place.
Hope they did the Ned Kelly experience.
And had chicken nuggets and fries at McDos in St Kilda.
