Yep definitely ON, no problem. Bit of rain (which means there's clouds, which means it's a bit warmer).

8-) Right lads, let's just leave it a couple of hours so Nerso gets on the road, then we can tell everyone else the truth about the Arctic conditions up here.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

The weather around lancaster is getting worse, so much so that we are letting anyone that lives in rural areas to go home early. (DeeBee will love that). Someone that lives just beyond Bentham has gone home while they can still get down their drive.

The areas around Lancaster & Morecambe, snow is starting to settle. It's still just raining in Morecambe though, we rarely get snow. It's just raining in Preston as well so the motorways are clear. You have to look at local geography, we're surrounded by hills and frequently get anti-weather. Bentham is about 15 miles out of Lancaster and DeeBee is posting from about 12 miles away, aren't you boss  Both are in very rural areas.

You think this is bad? You should see it in the summer!

Actually, the view across The Bay on Sunday was one of those stunners. Flat calm with the tide in, sun shining and a dusting of white on the mountains. I wish I'd had my camera.

So how did that work out then?

The view across the Bay this morning was amazing, sunshine glaring on the snow laden mountains.

DeeBee, if you start with a spade now you could be at dad's house by 7
