FA Cup gates and beyond

FA Cup gates and beyond

Bratford only recorded just over 5000 for their home tie yesterday. I therefore feel that our gate of just short of 2000 was testiment to the loyalty of our fans not only to the club but also to the FA Cup.

Well done everybody.

Let's get behind the lads again on Tuesday, whatever the cost.

Also can't have escaped some peoples eyes that Accy only managed just over 2000 for their local League 2 derby with Bury who probably took around 1300. I'd be a worried Accy fan if those sort of gates continued on a regular basis.

Barrow and Fleetwood managed 3,000+ gates yesterday (more than we have all season I think). We really have been spoilt in recent years and because of this the gate yesterday was much lower than I expected. It's a sad day when an FA Cup second round doesn't get the masses down to the ground.
