Great when he had the ball but I thought he was lacking in commitment to get the ball and continually failing to challenge.

...and that is the beauty of SVs, we all see things differently and can put a point of view without (well most of the time ) being blasted for it.

I'm with Mark on this one, he doesn't seem to "want it" or rather get it.
On the other hand sometimes he does work back and steal the ball, alas not enough though.

Nope near the dugouts so saw close at hand a lot of his aerial presence and little flicks that confused Darren Kenton so much

The match I was watching today had Howe playing well and showing quality and Carlton once again not doing much apart from keeping the linesman's flag busy most of the afternoon.
