just got back from bournemouth after a really enjoyable trip to the south coast..the team battled all night and fully deserved the draw and with a bit more luck in last minute could have won it but dc's header came back off the bar.. well done to the 50 or so shrimps fans who were at the match fantastic effort on a tuesday night - anyway off to bed now with another point in the bank WELL DONE SAMMY,MARK AND THE BOYS

Howe Magic
well done to the 50 or so shrimps fans who were at the match

A big well done - 50 is pretty decent considering distance / mid-week / night time KO etc. Hell I thought there'd only be about a dozen there.

Aye, not a bad turnout at all. Its interesting to hear Jimmy Quinn ask for the fans to get behind them:

"I know it's difficult but we're really working hard. We need to make Dean Court as loud and as intimidating as we can," he told BBC Radio Solent.

"We don't want to have a game where we're giving the opposition a lift.

"The fans were having a bit of a moan and they've got every right if they don't see shots at goal. But we've got to be better than that."

Their fans behind the goal were certainly giving it a decent effort to lift the players. Whilst obviously favourable to us, it does make you question the amount of points the FA have deducted. The main reason these clubs have gone into adminstration is because they have spent beyond their means. It must have a hugely negative effect on their gates and hence their income, as the floating fans have little motivation to watch a team destined for relegation.

I actually thought despite the scoreline, last night was an entertaining game but both sides were just lacking the cutting edge in the final third.

enjoyed our trip also a night game last season.

funy how the locals hadnt forgot our last visit in 1987 to the seaside.
still only 2,000 visitors turned up for the night match.

nothing like our 10,000 on that bank holiday scorching weekend in 87.
with most like me sitting in the park whilst the game played, and chapman bagged the winner.

Think you'll find that Leeds' previous visit to Bournemouth was in May 1990.

Just got back an hour ago via Telford

Hope you have got your voice back after shouting at the ref and liner the other night, thought you were going to blow a gasket! - my ear is still sore
