Funny local league footy team names

I've come across a few over the years - as I'm sure many of you have (and will now, I hope, proceed to share with us).

I liked: Notso Hotspur from a five-a-side tournament at the Central Pier in my youth, as well as Borussia Munchen Ankletappers, whom I played against about 20 years ago.

Just noticed one of the local Sunday Six-a-Side leagues has one named: Sporting Abeergut, which prompted me to post this.

Named after a famous Czech side who sadly don't exist these days, my favourite was the Scottish Non League side....Dukla Pumpherston.

There are so many cracking names in Scottish Non Leagues. Two names are clearly named after the blokes who formed the teams....

We went to see Keith play in March, surprisingly it was eleven blokes not just one.

I always wanted to see them play in the UEFA Cup against the welsh team, Barry!!
