fantastic news for me as he is my favourite player - cant wait to have him back in the side he as been missed (when he comes back he could play in a back 5 with adams moving into a centre 3 with bentley and mcstay)

Bloody fantastic.

This could possibly see him in the role filled by McGovern. MH has played in a more forward role before under JH.

Good. I definitely see him as the natural replacement for McGivern on the left hand side. Saturday's second half proved we're a shambles when we play 4-4-2. Danny Adams most certainly cannot play in a wing-back role so Howard being fit again is essential.

I've been thinking about changiing for some time, just to confuse everybody.

The wing back system will suit Michael down to the ground, he has never been afraid to get forward and he has the energy to get back to defend, he is prepared to shoot as well when the opportunity arises, its just a pity that it will be a few more weeks before he is back.

With Howard and Twiss fit we would have a solid look to the team. Parrish doesn't have much of a left foot, but is the only player with enough speed to get down the left wing and around the back of the opposition.

McGivern had both - quick and a powerful left hook.
