O/T Xmas Lights

Postby Phoenix » Sun Nov 16, 2008 11:34 am

Anyone know if there's anything going on in Lancaster this afternoon for the lights switch on? One of the papers has a brief note in the what's on page but I can't find out anything else such as time, etc. Nowt on the council's web site, citizen, visitor or the bay.

Whatever entertainment is on i hope its an improvement on last year when Connie, the 7 year old lass who came second in Britains Got Talent gave us a rendition of White Christmas. What a f**king row, it sounded like a cat being strangled

In Durham its Coronation Street people doing it every single year without fail  (Steve McDonald this time).

One year we did have Keet from Boyzone, but I think he was in Corrie at the time.
