Google alerts with random words O/T

I get a google alert headed: "That was always likely to happen someday to Morecambe as a League club"

I open it and see a load of completely random collections of snippets of stuff like:

"The time or date Glass repair maryland reflects when an article was added to Google News.

Toward the end, he invoked his favorite anecdote about how his mother, now deceased, motivated him when he was just Jeffrey lang in show business and was not making headway.

Jones punching Officer Villanueva at least once in the head area. And Rene has to escape from the Sydney simpson."

I get these things quite often and usually it's obvious from the headline or first line that they are dodgy (many contain German or what looks like Finnish phrases) - this wasn't quite so..

What are they all about, what's their purpose and is there a danger in opening these links?
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!
