I disagree that it's dire, but it's bloody expensive - £4 return last week from my house to the bus station in Lancaster, less than 3 miles each way

I don't think they had any choice! My two kids had to walk from Scale Hall Lane to Our Lady's because the buses weren't going any further. No probs, though. The walk did them good and they had a good look at the lorry as they walked right past it!

If we had half decent public transport then people might. I know I refuse to pay out the sort of money that Stagecoach are chaging and then my journey would take even longer on the bus prob an extra 30mins each way easily.
