Predictions for Aldershot game.......

Predictions for Aldershot game.......

Postby Howe Magic » Thu Oct 30, 2008 10:07 am

I think saturday could be the turning point to our season,if we keep the same formation as last two games and we finish our chances i fancy a 2-1 win ....the only thing i am worried about on saturday is the attendence with there away form, the distance and also our indifferent form could be the lowest crowd of the season (Hope not and we can get over 2000 to cheer the lads on to a much needed victory)....

Lets just hope its an own goal then, it happens so often though, a former player scoring against a club he has played for.

Howell has been playing left back and has been doing a good job there by all accounts.

He was worse at defending than crossing and that says something as didnt he come as left back.

2v1 if we play like we did tuesday

If we're going to win, then it has to be 1-0, based on the fact that we can't score more than 1. However, on the basis that we can't keep a clean sheet either, that seems unlikely.

So probably another 1-1 draw!!

If Howell is playing then they only have 10 men! Anyone who went on Tuesday night shouldn't hesitate in coming to Christie Park On Saturday, because with that extra bit of luck, we'd of won that game.

Mr Munnings thought:
Morecambe 4 Aldershot Town 1

It would be very nice to get a result like that. However, I would be more cautious and suggest
Morecambe 4 Aldershot 3

Curtis 2 (1 pen)
Howell o.g.
McGiven

I think it will be a hard game but Aldershot have had some bad results such as the 5-1 defeat to chesterfield and the 3-1 defeat to rochdale. Now we have had draws with both of them so i think we go in favourites. i think that aldershot will come out and attack for the first 15 mins and we need to defend that and go and attack our selves.

score will be a convincing 2-0 win for the home side :D :D :D

i think that on saturday the performance will be a lot better and we will play some flowing football. :!: :!:

Please just a win for Morecambe. I am deeply, deeply hungover and after seeing photos of my haggered body on Facebook I don't think i could take anything less than a win.

Let's just get behind the team today.

I don't about anyone else but sat here wearing my wife's dressing gown, listening to Bruce Springsteen and eating a sausage butty. The season starts today.

UP THE SHRIMPS!

p.s. Please no one boo Jesus. Legend.

Why should he be shown a good welcome? He slipped when Exeter crossed the ball for Lee Phillips header!! ;)

IIRC, it was Blackie who put Howell in to the stands in the first minute when Howell last played at Christie Park? Blackie got a yellow card, Howell wasn't seen again for the rest of the game! Strange that they are now both playing in the same defence.
