..and yet another loanee?

..and yet another loanee?

Postby Christies Child » Sun Oct 26, 2008 11:53 am

Sammy seemed confident of having extra bodies in for yesterdays game. Maybe the second and reportably a striker will 'sign on' this coming week.

Rumours circulate that it could be Ritchie Foran but my info suggests that it could be somebody much nearer home and no stranger to the 06/07 red shirt. ;) ;) ;)

Certainly was being mentioned as being available for loan in Carlisle last week so I'm reliably informed by a member of my family, who knows better than to wind me up on such important and life saving issues!

The Carlisle crowd do not rate him at all, suggesting that he's not Div 1 standard.

I dont think danny carton will come to morecambe on loan at the moment, because carlisle have to many injuries and need every player they have got.

Haha sorry I just dont rate him. Yes Im grateful for him getting us into the football league with that awesome strike but when has he ever scored a goal like that before then? I look back and think "how the hell did Carlton score that... must have been divine intervention".

Well, Exeter did. I'm not sure what we were doing for the first 15 minutes.

I must say I'm rather pleased I've managed to find a negative in the club's greatest and most historic day. It's a bit like stumbling over a pot of gold and bemoaning the fact that you'd hurt your foot.

Kick off was 2p.m..... second half would have kicked off at 3 p.m. (ish)

Danny scored in the 82nd minute which was 37 mins into the second half making it 3.40 p.m. when Sammy slipped on his arse   ...
Not that I remember much about those last 8 minutes it seemed to go on for ever :D :D :D :D :D

DC scored a goal in every 3 league games he played for us, despite the fact that in more than a third of those games he came off the bench. It doesn't really matter whether the goals looked pretty, does it?

A spell with us might be what he needs right now - though I would have thought that reinforcing just about any other area of the team would be a higher priority.

Good point, maybe with all their new money Mark Hughes & co. don't realise that Ryan is here yet and Man. City are still paying his wages
