WHEN? Saturday 21st May, kick-off 3pm.

WHERE? The final will be played at the City of Manchester Stadium, Manchester City F.C.

HOW MUCH WILL THEY COST ME? There are three pricing structures from the match. Level 1 prices are £36 for adults and £18 for Under-16s. Level 2 prices are £41 with no concessions. Level 3 will only be opened when 1 and 2 are sold out and prices will be the same as Level 1.

ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL FEES? Yes. Each ticket carries a £3 booking charge for adults and a £1.50 booking charge for concessions. Postage of tickets costs £2.25 for first class mail or £5.25 for recorded delivery.

    :?    :?

I WAS thinking of going till I saw them prices,

There was a big article in the NLP Paper last Sunday mate about the prices for Wibblydon v. Luton.

Naturally, fans of both clubs are going beserk over the pricing. Exhorbitant.

And how the HELL can they justify that amount for normal first class post ? (ie, an envelope and a stamp ???)

Both clubs asked for the prices to be reduced as many fans had protested but the Conference authorities refused. Sounds like some may be boycotting it. Makes our £25 for Wembley look a bargain.

That is disgraceful! How much is it for an average Man City Premiership game? I bet you could have watched City for less than Luton v Wimbledon. Plus there is travel. Why not play at Arsenal or some other southern venue? I hope they take a stand and boycot the game so the FA take notice, especially as Wimbledon were a 'protest club' in the first place.

To be fair, I think the Manchester venue was decided upon last summer when it was realised Wembley would be unavailable due to The Champions League Final.

As you say though Keith, wouldn't have taken much planning to do a late switch to a ground down South somewhere, seeing as both clubs are Southern based.

Just looked at my Wembley ticket on my wall and it says £20.

The Conference should be ashamed of those prices!

Manchester City v Spurs, May 2011, tickets at £20.

Yes, they should be ashamed... very.

The Commercial Director of AFC Wimbledon was being interviewed on TalkSport this afternoon.

They charge just TWO POUNDS admission per match for people upto and including the age of 16.

All credit to them as well !!

This game does not seem to be live on telly anywhere. That's surprising isn't it? A play-off final? :?

if you google "live footy on line" and get the link it costs £6 to subscribe for 2 months and they cover all the games that are televised in the UK whether on Sky , ESPN , Sports UK , BBC , ITV etc

They are covering the play-off at 3 tomorrow and all the games on Survival Sunday too.

Ive just been watching both the Accy and Torquay games on laptop.

Market Forces isn't it?!
That's what folk on SV have kept telling me since I first questioned the ridiculous hike in admission prices in the last few years.
How much does a violent computer game cost these days btw? About the same as the admission charge for the Luton v AFC Wombles match. To me that makes the latter a bargain.

Live commentary

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/bbc_london

Crowd of just over 18,000 with 30,000 empty seats, so quite a few refused to pay considering the 3000 average crowd of Wimbledon and 6000 of Luton.

We must have take 7 times our average to Wembley?

That would be great. Their fans would deserve a decent reception after the way they have rebuilt their club. Crazy gang are back!

What an amazing climb for AFC Wimbledon ! Well done to them !!

All we need now is for MK Dons to get relegated back to League 2 and them to have to play AFC !!
