Bizzare day set off at 06.00 from "Devil Town" (nr St Orth) 3 cars (11 fans with no finger nails and twitchy rses) Past loads of coaches on the way down to our stop at Norton Canes on the toll road. Met a few mates there inc CC who was holding court over a large decaff latte,I guess at this point Vinny took a picture of the Sticker in the back of my car (See his avatar). Refreshed we zoomed down towards the "smoke",once on the M1 the coaches became diluted, some M.F.C. but others belonging to Leicester Tigers, who where chessin eggs at Twickers later where also making their way south.Arrival at Stanmore was at around 11.10hrs and I think we got the last couple of places on the station car park.At the station I suspect that London Transport had Just introduced a ticket machine where by you stuck your card in punched a few Buttons and out came your ticket, despite the best efforts of this big west Indian bloke selling the new concept us Northern lads where having non of it and paid Cash at the Kiosk for our short trip to Wembley.
It had been a few years since I had been, and to be honest some of our number had never been south of Galgate...What an improvement !!. A quick text and we soon met up with some friends "Northern born and Bred" who live in the South and where MFC fans for the day. (One of which is the grounds man @White Heart Lane). So we set of for a walk around the outside concourse, looking over the Coach Park we StumbleUpon what to looked like a very large foot spar. At this point some of us where having a quick fag when this steward came rushing over and asked if we could put the fags out as this was a No Smoking area. Of course we did eventually stamp them out but mean while the conversation had turned to the very large foot spar " Whats this for mate" asked my pal..."It's a dog toilet" said our new friend, and he garbled on, giving us a demonstration on how once your dog had curled one off you where able to flush it away! Clever these southern Dogs ..eh. Once inside apart from the Match, the result and the first time I have ever seen a Beer cow my most abiding memories was the power of the hand dryers...I have never had a blow job as powerful since !. Took a bit of time getting out of the car park on the way home, but we filled the time in with a food fight and a bit of a sing song. Stopped at Keele for some vittles and coffee on the way back and got talking to some Blackpool fans who had been to watch us,it was a trial run for them as they where going again the week after in the playoffs, nice people I have to say.Got back to Devil Town around 21.25,Parked up and set off the couple of hundred yards to the Sausage just in time to watch the Replay on sky...So yeah... I know what happened ,,And it was Brilliant
