Some very good players available on a free transfer according to PFA site:

Obviously Jim will have to be shrewd with the budget and all. I only made it to 'H' alphbetically but players that stood out to me who we could have a chance with were Omar Daley, Gareth Evans, Chris Holroyd and I would LOVE Joel Grant from Crewe. Also noticed Will Haining is on there. I hope Bentley is desperately trying to retain him but i'd wager there are othere clubs sniffing round.

Some very good players on this list, there should not be a problem signing a decent striker as Ashley grimes, Calvin zola, Febian brady, Reuben Reid. Think we should get at leat 1 of those players i would personaly love any of them, but i think zola would be very good! ;) ;)

I would have to say no chance. There was a big reason why he has been released from Crewe, and it showed in the game we played against them at their place. They were chasing a play-off spot and yet he didn't put any effort in at all until the last 10 minutes of the game. That's not the type of player I'd like to see us signing at all.

Garry is also 6' on Wikipedia, although at least they have him down as midfield. To be fair I suppose they will be confused with where our players have been playing of late

I see on the site that it has Hunter as a Striker, Holdsworth as a Midfielder, Hendrie as a Midfielder and Capaldi as a Midfielder. I'm not sure any of those are their preferred positions, I'd have said Midfield and then the 3 defenders... :?

As far as Shuker goes, maybe it's just his agent trying to 'big him up'!
