I'm guessing (hoping :? ) that it is because he is out of contract and hasn't yet signed a new one.

Not really surprising as Will was on his way anyway and didn't come here to play right back. With the reduction in squad numbers we already have cover at centre back with McCready, Charnock, Paz and Cowps, not to mention Jimbo.

It will be down to where Jim sees Paz and Cowps in terms of their ideal playing position. Wilson's yes or no will also come in to the equation

I think you're getting Haining and Scott mixed up as to players that "didn't come to Morecambe FC to play right back".

I'd resign Will, but I think he'll look to join a side nearer to Oldham..... There were rumours that he had been in talks with Macclesfield when frozen out here under the previous management.
