MORECAMBE FC built an eyesore on westgate with most of the money going on the main stand, with 2 sheds behind the goals. then they appoint a total novice as manager which can only mean the board after selling christie park which i still believe wasnt there's to sell have taken all the money as no decent signings to complement the excuse of a stadium, obviously mr mccilroy had no confidence in the future of MORECAMBE FC as his departure shows, as with my comments non league footie looks the future for the globe

2/10

Looks like Simple Ned and Pobble have been joined by a third contender.

Should 'attacks' have an apostrophe in it?

I also think you have spelt the word apostrophe wrong?

Andyhanks: "1 jim bentley no experience 2 sammy mac had no money hence loan signings 3 new management will they have good contacts ? 4 fans vote with their feet last seasons crowds prove that, 5 why was 90% of ground budget put in main stand and 2 sheds behind goal. 6 where's the money for signings that was promised could go on all night , maybe spent too much on backhanders to get ground switch as christie park was left for recreational use not a supermarket when there's plenty within 2 miles radius."

How someone can get so many things twisted in a few short lines really does beggar belief.

But just to put a couple to bed.

5 (while the new stadium isn't perfect) does it not make sense to put an emphasis on a part of the ground that can actually generate income on other occasions than match days?
6 the ground was NOT left for recreational use - it was left for the use of Morecambe FC, only reverting to recreational use if MFC went out of existence and, as another poster has said, in any case the trustees of JB Christie's legacy went to court to get that condition transferred to the new site (ie they were in full agreement - so no-one else has any kind of valid argument and should shut it!)

I'll leave others to counter his other blatherings.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!
