just been thinking.

we could have done with Torquay not winning this one incase they go on and gain promotion it could swing Craig Stanley's mind with L1 football

Craig will have a bit to think about, I would imagine though he will have already commited to torquay in his head a while ago, no one knew this was coming, I would say though, if they go up, Torquay will look to upgrade playing staff, it may be dependant on his relationship with jim wether they work together next year, something only the two of them are privy to, good luck to both, whatever happens.

I don't Craig so shallow that he'd go with Torquay ..just because they've gone up.

Remember back when he signed for us, who was he playing for and what was his last game for them?

He refused a step up to come to us.

he would not be being shallow signing for torquay wether they went up or not.

He went to torquay and worked his socks off when he was not wanted here, whatever he decides, i wish him well.

its not a case of being shallow he is a professional footballer who may want to test himself at a higher level just like players before him Thompson, Duffy, Baker, Carlton

I wasn't saying he was shallow, I was saying that he's a player who doesn't chase after what others would perceive as advancement. He turned down a chance to play a league higher when he signed for us, was the point I was making.

I wish him luck and thank him for his 100% effort in every game he played for us, I hope his future lays here with us though. As much I told him so at the presentation evening, when chatting with Jimbo during the England game, when Stanners was up for Thommo's stag do, I told him too!

I did miss out the word "think" from the original post though.
