Has Joe Kinnear Lost The Plot?

Has Joe lost the plot or stood up for himself? Either way, a great read (and listen)!

52 swear words in 5 minutes is some going!

Obviously you have not been in the Potting Shed when the mower won't start.

Joe Kinnear, or should that be Joe Kinnel?, is right to have a go. He's had nothing but crap from the hacks since he was appointed. Did he go to the papers telling them that he was applying for the job and how good he'd be? No. He was appointed as a stop gap measure whilst the club gets sold. Whilst he may not be the first name on everybody's lips to be the Newcastle manager, that's hardly his fault, and for the hacks to have a go is wrong I reckon. He knew full well that his rant would get huge exposure, despite the "This doesn't leave the room" type of rhetoric. He probably knew that people would read it and think "Good for you Joe" and would give him a bit of kudos, knowing that if he is attacked by the press, he has a good excuse already. Pretty clever I think. But still, very entertaining and I'm sure that Sky Sports et al will have the bleeper ready for the after match conference...

By the way, on the subject of bleeping, did you know that in the Jeremy Beadle shows, the bleeps were just put in for effect? Even when people didn't swear they'd bleep through the person as though they were swearing their head off. It certainly worked though.

This was on Today on Radio 4 yesterday. The BBC reporter said that Kinnear was asked 'at least three times' is this on or off the record and he said he didn't care. He is a tit. Gloating over Newcastle's continued failure is always a joy!
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

Joe Kinnear just helped out his players in a big way by taking the media pressure away from them and on to him. Newcastle United are a massive club who consistently underperform in terms of supporter expectations. Maybe if all the focus is on the manager then the players can get on with their game and not have to hear so much about how badly they are playing.

Possibly Genius move or it could backfire badly, either way it was entertaining and will probably win the hearts of the fans

Brilliant that marky , nice to hear him mention the 'Fans' a couple of times. Final score though was 2-1 to Shrewsbury.
