2011/12 season prediction

Lowered expectation a little from last season and gone for a mid table finish although suppose it all depends on who the manager is and who we sign/let go.

I think that we'll really struggle next season, whoever the new manager is. With Crawley and one of AFC Wimbledon and Luton coming up and Plymouth, Bristol Rovers and Swindon coming down with Dagenham, who'll be a better side for their season in League 1.

I can't see many of the teams who finished above us getting weaker. We can only hope that Barnet's end of season improvement doesn't continue and that Macclesfield return to their normal level.

So I reckon we'll finish up somwhere between 20th and 22nd. I hope I'm wrong and we do obtain, at the very least, mid-table mediocrity.

My prediction:

Longer away trips; more slaggin' and bitchin' on SV; CC starting more threads than a Bangladeshi seamstress; Pobble and Simply Ned meet, shag and we all get invited to a gay wedding in Blackpool; Bare Ben gets his rose tinted glasses surgically removed but the surgeon leaves behind a mask of Bigreddog; Marky No 1's Internet service provider recognises him for his work in taking up more bandwidth than Zambia; Tony Capaldi signs for the Dog & Duck Reserves; Rod Taylor made a Saint by Pope Benedict; John Coleman becomes Morecambe manager following the appointment of new Chairman Stan Boardman; (Cont. on Page 94

You leave my bandwidth alone!   :lol

I too predict a tough season against stronger opposition. 20th would be a success in our transition period IMO . Having said that following the Shrimps you can never tell :D
