So what next for Sammy and Mark

So what next for Sammy and Mark

It wouldn't surprise me if they returned as the management team at some 'so called' bigger League 2 club....Bradford.....Port Vale..??????

Unlikely......wouldn't bet against it!

A good rest and summer holiday. They both need to recharge their batteries. After seeing Sammy on saturday, he needs to have break and come back to football fighting fit. Good luck for the future guys and thanks for lifting Morecambe to new heights.

If you were Fleetwood, why would you NOT go for Sammy & Mark and their track record ?
I guess its what kind of challenge Sammy & Mark want next.

Trying to second guess, they might prefer a northern L2 club, not many left, than BSP as they know it better in which case Bradford's poisoned chalice or more likely Port Vale or possibly Macclesfield in the future.

Just have this feeling we havent seen the last of Sammy & Mark at the Globe, probably next season as well - lets hope it doesn't end badly

For a horrible second, just magine a relegation battle next spring ......

No, don't !

I would say Fleetwood are MORE than happy with Micky Mellon mate.

First ever managerial post, takes them into Blue Square Premier at his first attempt, and into the Play Offs in their first season ? Can't argue with that.

Now actually, Mr Mellon could be another name in OUR frame ??!!!

You would have thought that if Sammy had an inkling Saturday was his last game that we would have waved and applauded the fans as he trudged off, but instead he just picked his nose - nice.

Another good shout mate, but isn't their caretaker gaffer on a run of something like 11 wins in 14 games or something like ? His name escapes me (I'm crap with names, Bert).

I believe Sammy is a Gigg Lane hero still though.

He shouldn't rush into to anything. Admittedly you probably don't turn anything down if you get offered it but if I was in his position, I'd need a bit of time out from the game.
