here's one player I would like us to sign from Colchester.

not sure if he's out of contract this Summer though and we would have to fight Keith Hill for him judging by what he said at the recent fans forum :-

He's been a massive disappointment. He has dropped from League One to League Two were he has demonstrated that he isn't worth a start at a club making up the numbers. Natural progression see's him at Barrow and beyond next year. We won't be moving forward with the likes of Shuker in the squad. He is the first out of the door, how you've got him starting in the team for next season is beyond most rational minds. He might as well go to Vegas to keep Capaldi company.

Team i would hope for: People may say about calvin zola wages but we have got players like wainwright/capaldi who will be on a decent wage, and i would prefer to see players like that get released and get better quality players in!

Roche

Haining McCready Parrish Wilson

McConville Fleming Hunter Scott Hackney

Zola

Zola is turd though, he would be another of the 'turn up to pick up their wages', but he would surely be one of the top earners exacerbating the situation!

What concerns me is that with the wage bill having to be reduced that the number of existing players on contract will determine who and how many of the managers 'wants' we will actually be in a position to negotiate with.

It's all well and good having a list of players he wants but finances will dictate who we can sign, as it has done in the past. Unfortunately we've missed out due to money before and I see no reason to suggest that that will not happen again.

Tough times ahead without question.

Right so people would basically keep our whole defence (Baz, Paz, McCready, Nial, Haining & Wilson).
And they would keep our midfielders Fleming, Drummond & Hunter. And would want Hurst.

So the fact we have conceded 71 goals means what? Surely we need some quality center mids as we only have 1 - Fleming.

Must be all the manager's fault if people would keep most of the squad that play now.

We need attacking quality so we can defend from the front, hassling teams all over the pitch will actually show us how strong our defence can be. No point in having a great keeper and defence if teams have all day to pick them apart.....ball retention would be nice to see as well.
Get over it ;)
