Players Names

Max Power scorer of Tranmere Reserves opener against Morecambe is now my official favourite footballers name, edging out Stephan Kuntz (subject of that famous commentary line "here come the Germans........Kuntz").

Anyone know of any other footballers who's parents had a sense of humour?

Gary and Phil Neville's grandparents.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

A local lad played for Marsh United, regularly appearing in the sports reports in the Lancaster Guardian.
His name is Luke Ogley.

I used to have dealings with a senior bod who worked for MAFF.
His surname is Eddy. His initials were T E D.
