There is already an announcement about the next meeting sitting right at the top of the page.
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10316
It already contains most of the information that is repeated in this thread. The fact that you apparently didn't notice it and people chose not to add to it, kind of confirms my belief that threads that move up and down a page get noticed much more than 'stickies' do in the first place. Alternatively of course, you did notice the other thread but simply want lots of threads about the Supporters Club 'stuck' at the top of the page?
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

No, not really. I was unaware the weblink to register was in that thread.......an alternative you haven't thought of maybe?

but that's pretty much the point I was trying to make. The 'stickie' was started the day before this thread but it's been viewed almost 300 times less than this thread. One of the reasons I don't like stickies.

I understand your point, I barely even notice the stickies that are there now, maybe once its dropped off page 1 and stays off it'd be best suited to a sticky.

we're still looking for business sponsorship or partnerships for in store discounts, any and all offers most gratefully received. potential sponsors can contact me at: darrenclifford123@btinternet.com or on 07723956102 or see me at the match.

But what are people registering for?

It seems to me that this supporters club is the compilation of a database done by a few people who've given themselves fancy titles to make themselves feel important. I wasn't going to say anything, but the constant bumping and responding to of supporters club threads (which nobody else other than committee members has yet bothered to garnish with acknowledgement or response) is getting tiresome.

Personally from the outside this supporters club is quickly going from a few people with similar interests meeting up in the pub for a piss up (good idea) to the manifestation of local wannabe politicians creating steering committees and implementing constitutions. Isn't all the later type of stuff the main reason why the old supporters club was rejected by the majority of the support base? Being thought of as a bit stuffy and cliquey, ultimately reducing its functionality and activities due to declining membership.

What is the purpose of the supporters club? What is its function? What are the benefits? What is the policy on the Libyan situation? I'm sure many people who have been duped into filling in the form are dying to know.

It was for this reason it was suggested that the fans club website had it's own forum. so those who wanted to know what was happening knew where to find out,

Not that there's alot to find out about because not alot is happening.

The reason i got involved was,

To try and give us the fans a VOICE so we could once again communicate with our club, Give fans from all areas and varied opinions an oppotunity to get to know each other and MOST importantly improve every fans match day experience.

I think the fact that we set of at 100m WR pace makes it just feel like things have come to a holt but things are happening and hopefully more will be reveilled very soon.

Supporters club has only been going on a couple of months, so give it a chance! There have been meetings as well. Also, isn't the wall redecoration with tge wembley pictures to do with the fans club? Give it some time and I'm sure it'll turn out great :) !
