next season

Postby fletch_al » Mon Apr 25, 2011 1:58 am

ok so ive had a few :o get over it :D

I for one will be relieved when this season is over given it is now more likely than not that will not be relegated (though im not counting my chickens!). Tho the welcome of a new stadium, a new badge and a new era for the shrimps has been great we cannot deny that the season has been disappointing

those beingm frankly ridiculously optimistic were expecting promotion
those being a bit more realistic were hoping for another shot at play offs
but those who were just hoping for the best and that we would continue to be league club, even they must have been very nervous not too man weeks ago.

if im honest this has been a very mundane season. good enought but not really worth it. like a filler track on an album. so for me i am already looking forward to next season where we can once again try to acheive something great.

i think the tream, fans and particularrly sammy mac would like to put this season behind us and start again from scratch next year to acheive something great. i believe the recent good results show us that we are still competitive in this league and we stil have the potential to go far

Like "Walk Of Life" on Dire Straits excellent "Brothers In Arms" album. Ruined it for me did that. :(

Back to topic, next season will be better tenfold and the disappointments of this one will just be a memory and chapter in history. Mark my words.

We are in the Football League still ! :D :D :D
