I missed this thread and have only just seen the news story on the BBC. Thought I'd better use the search facility before starting a new thread!

I normally can't be bothered with 'Fan of the Year' stuff because to me, there are just too many different ways of looking at what constitutes 'best' in football fan terms. But in this instance I'd say it was a great choice. Anyone who has had to be carried in to the ground because they are too ill to walk in deserves respect and recognition. She'll have had a happy night last night!
