Great start! Jevons cross to Spencer who side-footed it to McCready for an easy tap in. Come on, lets stick another one in and we can begin to relax a bit!

DC with our second from 20 yards out, into the bottom corner! :D

Superb!

Burton had started to come back in to it, so hopefully that second goal will knock the wind out of them now.

Bradford 0 Torquay 2 now
Barnet & Stockport refusing to accept they are down, they are both 2-1 up against Crewe & Stevenage at the moment.
Lincoln & Northampton both getting hammered.

Full Time!

A very important win. We *should* be safe now, we'd need a few teams below us to suddenly find form for them all to pass us.

satisfactory team performance and a important 3 points to safety.

and for me on the pitch the main positives were Hurst in central midfield always wanting the ball and threading it forward he looks a lot better there than he does out wide.

then Haining i think we've missed his composure at the back this season.

Good performance. Carlton to start next game I think.

Cowperthwaite did well on his home debut.

Seem to recall posting that Hurst was a better player in the centre rather than stuck out wide AND as for Wil..l always been a fan, just hope whoever is incharge next season retains his services. Cultured player.

As for the result, a neutral would probably said that a draw would have been fair, but what the hell......I'm not complaining!
