When the end of season often sees two teams who have nothing to play for playing each other, we have 3 home games against fellow relegation strugglers and 3 away games against teams fighting for promotion/play off places. All to play for, let's polish our tin hats ready for battle.
Picture the last day of the season with us and Northampton on 48 points with Barnet on 46.
Knowing Barnet would have to beat Port Vale by 3 clear goals to make up the goal difference, would the Shrimps and the Cobblers have a pre match handshake?
(of course this is fictional as it could never happen)
Im being lazy here but who are Barnet and Stockports last 7 games Marky ?

Its certainly different from previous seasons where we have been going into the last game needing something from it or hoping that other results go our way to get into the play offs.
Probably just as exciting but for all the wrong reasons.
