The result from The Moss Rose earlier was Morecambe Reserves 7-2 Macclesfield Town Reseves. Goalscorers were: Phil Jevons (4), Andy Holdsworth, Garry Hunter and Will Haining.

Just goes to show what can be done with 100 % effort, respect and commitment.Bentley,Haining and young Cowperthwaite have played 2x90 mins in 3 days.Thoroughly professional. The two forgotten men.5 wins out of 6 for the reserves now.Confidence must be sky high.Well done Jimbo at least one Morecambe side is doing well.I think we should go back to basics and play the players that want to wear a morecambe not just the players that want to pick up their wages.Thats what got us to the play-offs last year.

...and the over-weight, pub playing, prima-donna in the reserves?

So how did that work out then?
