Yes, I agree wholeheartedly and I believe all the fans showed their appreciation by supporting the team well, even at one goal down.

On behalf of the Indies, thanks to all concerned for the fantastic gesture, very much appreciated and we all had a good day. :D

Seconded! Thank you to those who made it happen and thank you to those who got in touch, post my mini-rant, to get me on a coach today. A beautiful sunny day with awesome support to see and hear. Especially endearing to witness (again) the younger lads (and lasses) who now lead the vocals, having taken over from the older lags, as they've passed over the baton. You were great, noisy and humerus. And thank you for a vital three points that should put us very close to Football League football next season, so thanks to the players & management for that too.

So how did that work out then?

A big thank you to all, it has been a great away day. Fantastic gesture and I think we repaid them by creating a fantastic atmosphere all game. Contrary a few comments on the Barnet message board, every supporter there today was a credit to our club.

That was awesome, that was great!
We left the Globe at just after eight,
Got to Barnet just after one,
Ready to cheer the Morecambe boys on,
Everyone dressed in red and white,
It really was a wonderful sight!
1-0 down was just what we had feared,
But then Danny scored two, and the fans all cheered,
Onwards and upwards for our mighty team,
Woke up this morning......no, it wasn't a dream :) :)

While we are thanking all concerned and connected with the travel yesterday, I think it very interesting that the 1st 2 in this thread are 2 of the 3 people who organiser travel every week for the away days, the 3rd being Bob(?) of the officials.

I think there effots all season need to be commended aswell.
