speaking from my fathers point of view who's eldest brother who died in a Japanese POW camp in WW2 a lot of the soldiers from back then your referring to hated the Japanese and just thought of them as a ancient nation of Evil Barbarians who made the Nazi's look like tooth fairy's with there torcher/murder techniques and they have only recently apologized to the UK as a nation for the treatment of our POW and ignorance to the Geneva convention treaty agreement.
i could go on and write a essay with evidence on this subject but its common knowledge to most people who know there WW2 history..
but that was then this is now they do need our help.

It's a discussion Sammy, what I've said is relevant.
I hate one sided arguments, whether I'm right, wrong, or make a total axse of myself. If it's the latter I'll hold my hand up.
What you've said is basically "shut-up!"
Sorry mate, I'll carry on
If this ends up as the last posting on this thread then I'll draw my own conclusions.
matty wrote:Peter, stop turning this thread into one of your personal rants about what you think is wrong with the world - show a little respect.
If you want to talk about things that are happening in that shit hole of a town you call home then start a thread just for it, same goes for your work history.
I find the way you've twisted and turned this thread in to the "Heinz wants to have a rant and the last word" show really disrespectful to both Darren and Les.
