Im no expert on football, but it's obvious to me that the club need to bring in a good striker on loan, from a big club if only for a month, because at the moment we don't look like scoring at all.

Not sure if it would make much difference, the strikers we have don't get much quality service. The only threatening move on Saturday where it looked as though a striker looked like they might get on the end of it was a low cross swung into the back post by Shuker that Carlton was inches away from meeting with a diving header. I was as disappointed as most on Saturday, but we've got to put it behind us and move forward with what we've got. It was just one of those games where nothing worked and we weren't at the races. The three games prior to that we had looked half decent and could have easily taken 9 points from 9 against three very competent sides.

Saturday was my first match for a while, and unfortunately I think our problems are still the same as 2 seasons ago. We aren't competing in the centre of midfield. Whenever Bradford got the ball, we always looked like we were a man short in the middle. Garry Hunter and Kevan Hurst gave their all, but didn't look like wide men (beacuse they aren't). When Shuker came on, we actually got some good balls going forward, and our front men suddenly looked more threatening.

We have to play the right men in the right positions, and it worries me that there are only 10 games left, and Sammy doesn't appear to know his strongest 11. For me, we need to be playing Shuker and Wilson in the wide midfield positions, possibly with Hurst and Hunter/Brown inside. Unfortunately, I don't think Drummond is up to this level anymore, and it pains me to say that. He gets a few goals, but looks slower than ever. Fleming gave his all on Saturday, but I'm not sure he's one to start the game. The end of the season is going to be a very turbulent time methinks!
HOWAY THE SHRIMPS!!!!!
