So how did that work out then?

Anyone who feels strongly enough to hit the 'report post' and I'll dump it.

My thoughts go out to all the family's BUT we better not start helping with money!! after all they are a hell of alot richer than Britain.

Although the main concern for me is the fact that part of a nuclear plant blow up earlier today!! That's got to be worrying for everyone!

Just a question, that big crack in the earth's crust that's sucking all the water in and creating a whirlpool......will that not lower sea levels?

fair play sending them help with aid workers and food & blankets etc. but the thing what gets me it was announced a few weeks back that foreign aid despite all the cut backs in our own back yard

India who have a nuclear and space program obviously have plenty of money to play with and are only 2nd to Chine with fastest economic growth rate. but for some reason like mugs we feel it still necessary to still give them aid if they have people living below the breadline tough! its not our problem that's there business -> http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-12607537

and apparently we are only now reviewing in stopping giving Russia & China direct aid(cash)?

it's like me going across the road to a working family with money for them because there kids are scruffy looking and they drive around in a shit family car whats dropping to bits and have debt collectors chasing them because they choose to go on 3/4 holidays a year with there money now justify that?

I find it incredibly sad, if not utterly pathetic, that a thread about a catastrophic natural disaster has been turned into a rant about foreign aid in 8 posts.
Some are dead and some are living. In my life, I've loved them all.
