O/T Tiny torque wrench needed!!

Postby captain sparkle » Thu Mar 10, 2011 2:42 pm

At my wits end, i need a torque wrench that goes down to 12ins/lb (1.6nM), to use once, for about 30 seconds, have tried asking at garages/engineers etc, but no one has one that goes down to such 'A Tiny Amount'!!
Can anyone help?

Ya sho' got that right!
jus' for a short spell.

I can buy several, but as i pointed out, it's a once only event, & will take as long as it takes to fasten 2 screws down.

2 screws that hold the top on the brake master cylinder,
too tight & it leaketh,
too loose & it leaketh,
unevenly tightened & it leaketh still!

The manufacturer has redesigned the cover ( not admitting that the originals were prone to leaking or anything!), and now the torque is 12-15ins/lb, the original torque was 6in/lb!!!

Andy, can't find one on the laser website, they only seem to go down to 5nM!

I'll carry on the quest!
