Isn't it about time we had a chant for Jimmy. Didn't seem quite right that he only got applauded from the field yesterday particularly when Danny's name was chanted during the game and Jevo's when he came on. Any ideas you songsters out there.

Obviously "little" being both the original word and being somewhat ironic :roll:

Also, it is versatile, singing "score a goal" beforehand and "scores a goal" when he obliges.

The only problem is, not wanting to make you two old punks feel... well... old, but with this song being out in April 1979 and Mr Spencer not being born until December 1991, more than 22 years later, there's a good chance his parents weren't born then either! :lol:

Jimmy Jimmy is good, but I don't think it would work that well as a chant because it requires a pause/instrumental fill after each line of Jimmy Jimmys. As Little Shrimp would say; FACT! I know this because I'm an expert and sang Johnny B. Goode by Chuck Berry at a Cleckheaton party!
