If you wait until April to read this, ;) for those reading it in March, it's been extended until 4th May. :?

Sadly, baring any major injuries to other players, I think that signals the end of Craig's time as a Morecambe player. Nice lad, I hope he does well in his future career and thanks for all he's done previously for us.

Stanley extends loan
Posted on: Mon 28 Feb 2011

Morecambe have agreed with Torquay to extend Craig Stanley's loan until May 4.

The Shrimps have completed the paperwork on the deal which is set to be confirmed on Tuesday. Craig can be recalled during that time if needed.

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

Is this a clear indication that perhaps Sammy is planning for the long-term? If you believed anything scrawled on here the overwhelming impression I get is that The King and Lils will leave when their current deals expire at the end of the season. Strange then that the ruling over players futures extends beyond their own planning horizon, effectively ending Stanners tenure at the club. I'm not saying that is right or wrong, just throwing it out there that perhaps Sammy will be here a while longer that some members think.

I can't see Craig pulling on the red shirt again. Good luck to him, thanks for the memories. And then there were only two that remained......
