Morecambe dominating. Hurst cuts in from right and hits one from 25 yards which flies into bottom corner.

Still going at them. Sounds like our pace up front is causing them problems. Never thought I'd say that.

Lincoln and Macclesfield are both losing. However, Hereford are winning 1-0 against Oxford.

On Radio Lancs they're saying Barry's only had one save to make.

Almost everyone I've spoken to had a smile before today's game saying 'we'll probably do them'. How many meant it?

I know... I think we are such a topsy-turvy side, we always play well against the better sides.

Coops just said that "we dominated them on the pitch and out-sung them off it" excellent all round. NOW let's kick on from here.

Fantastic result and by all accounts a fantastic performance. A few brave decisions today by Sammy to drop Jevons, Holdsworth and Capaldi but it paid off. In a relegation fight there are no luxury players, passangers or weak links. It looked like a better side on the teamsheet for the added pace of Danny, a bit of youth and well a taste of Morecambe of old. Got to keep it going.

based on our points per game ratio, we should finish the season on 51 pointish, the safety barrier! Id take that this season and put this season down to a learning curve, next season for me is going to be our biggest season ever!

When the chips are down, Morecambe come out fighting! Thought we were due a performance today but even being a bit of an optimist still only had us down for a draw.

We NEED to win next week though to make this result really count. Then we can start to dream of mid-table mediocrity!
