When you think of the managers Bradford City have had since 2000 survival season in the Premier League it is astonishing.

All the managers they have had subsequently, Colin Todd, Bryan Robson, Stuart McCall, Peter Taylor etc, would all look very appealling to an interviewing panel and yet they have dropped like a stone in ten years and now stare non-league football in the face.

It is the question that any board of directors must always try to get right in appointing a new manager.

Experience or raw young talent, BCFC fans wanted Dave Penney at Doncaster who didnt have half the experience of the others.

Defensively minded ala Bolton or all-out attacking like 90s Newcastle. Not enough passion (Todd) or too much passion (McCall)

To be fair to the BC managers of the last ten years they all had to face financial problems behind the scenes, which still exist.

Appointing a football manager, it's like Russian roulette !
