On current form we deserve to go down

Barnet away is a massive game, but to be fair they're all big games for us now. Lose that and Barnet could leap-frog us in the table and send us into the bottom two, if they haven't done so already. All the more reason for people to get behind the players at home and on the road in the remaining fixtures.

Surprised nobody mentioned the omission of Bradford. That game could be our saviour! Where are Carl Baker and Rene Howe when you need them? 8-)

We also have Bradford at home which would be very interesting if we both don't pick up a couple of wins in the next 4 weeks.

Maybe cardboard cutouts or dummies are required? There has been a white window company's van parked in laybys around Carnforth this week for advertising purposes with what looks like guy fawkes at the wheel

As nobody likes it, we should give them the MBW, pack them in, make some money, we are always saying The Bay stand has better accoustics :?:

I agree with you on this, BUT why have they played well for other clubs but come to us and they underperform? Could it possibly be that we are not playing them in similar roles as to what they did elsewhere and they are out of their comfort zones?

I can't speak for Rundle, but a mate of mine is a Tranmere fan. He said when Shuker signed that he had been great for them but had got injured and had never been the same since, which is I think why we took a punt on him with a one year deal. It hasn't worked out, but it might have done.

Yes, we sign a lot of players who have been released by their last clubs - but what is the alternative? From reading your posts Ned, I get the impression that you think the board should be bidding for Adam Le Fondre or trying to bring in some other contracted player who is in his prime and scoring for fun.
Or am I getting the wrong end of the stick?

Ned usually does at least back up his opinions with evidence, agree with them or not (and I usually don't but that's debate).
The one thing I'll really take issue with here is that any text after a few pints of Stella from me could ever have any effect on our management, positive or otherwise.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!
