O/T Wayne Curtis sent off today on Barrow debut....

Postby Seasider9601 » Sat Feb 05, 2011 9:34 pm

.... after a foul on Chris Blackburn !! Quote from the Barrow forum :

was sat right in front of the Curtis challenge and imo it was never a red card, yes he went in 2 footed but won the ball and not the man but Blackburn played the professional victim, went down like a sack of spuds and stayed there long enough to get Wayne sent off .. a yellow card would have have sufficed.

That's football!
Odd shaped balls in Cardiff last night was awesome.
It's almost almost an embarassment admitting to watching the round balled version.

Neither was I.
Happens every time Pompey are at home.
Me and Doris get the ferry across the harbour from Gosport, and wander up to the Mucky Duck in Guildhall Walk to meet my mate 'Tricky' Ricky who's a season ticket bod.
Spend 2.5 hours, assisted by a few scoops, putting the world to right.
At 1430 'Tricky' goes his way to Fratton Park.
Me and Doris begin our wander back to the ferry.
Unfortunately there are several appealing obstacles to pass, and the inevitable is inevitable.
If we meet someone we know, then that's it.
Yesterday it was The Ship Anson just outside the Dockyard Gates, and it was Sid Lawrence and 'Mother' Hubbard who had our pleasure.
Whatever happens after these sessions is driven by instinct alone.
I dread firing the 'puter up on Sunday mornings.
57 apologies :)

Ahhh yes, Rugby Yawnion. The game watched by taffs and toffs. It is rather ironic that rugger rhymes with bugger!!!

Aye, but it was the passion, intensity and fair play.
The only diving was done by the try scores.
Gobbing-off to the ref and 10 minutes in the sin-bin.

Yaieeee, Pompey are at home.
A trip to the Mucky Duck beckons.
Might have time for a good rant or ramble later.
Hope your weather up north is better than down here.
Please win, I'm fed up of the doom and gloom!!

I used to be a bean-counter.
Then I lost a finger.
It's difficult!

Possibly.
But a quick search on Google renders owt close to 57 anywhere in the world absolutely futile.
The only bod who can talk in numbers is Ed Balls, and we all know what he talks!!

Quite fancy that.
Is the egg on top of the plate, or on top of the beans.
I prefer the egg sunny side up, it's not often tha' sees that in Morecambe, 'specially on't North terrace!
Was the sun there today?
