Just got back from a birthday lunch in Cartmel. 11 of us went, great company, wonderful food and lots of laughs. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I miss my comrades in the MBW though. That is all.

Everything is so predictable from the way we play to subs.

Can neither of our strikers be allowed to play 90mins always subbing them both = pointless.

My summary of the match...... Nothing up front, jevons was set up with two golden opportunities by Spencer one he hit wide from 10 yards and the other it was a easy save for the keeper. Midfield was too slow Drummond is too old. Fleming looked OK. Defence, now is it just me or has mcCready been the best central defender i have seen this year? Why an earth has he not started recently. TWO NEW STRIKERS IS A MUST AND WE ALSO NEED A TRICKY WINGER TO REPLACE DUFFY!!!!!!!!!AND MAYBE A CENTRE MID.

We don't have anyone called Muller at the club, and guess what?
Mullin couldn't have come on...he wasn't named today at all, not even on the bench!!!

Why can't we create anything in the final 3rd?

For the first 30mins I thought it was one of the best games I had seen in a while at the Globe but we just keptgetting to the edge of the box and messing about, no final ball.

Their 2 goals were soft and I am intrested to see the replays tonight on TV as I don't think they were free kicks.

However when we came out in the second half we should have thrown the kitchen sink at them and should have been all pumped up, instead we went back to normal and lumping long balls up the field.

What did Sammy say at half time? or what didn't he say because we caused them even less problems.

I completely agree with you about the first 30mins, it was looking like it was going to be a great game, we were showing lots of promising attacks but like you say, there was no final ball. They were counter attacking really well however and Constable was being a right pain in the arse.

Their first free-kick was from a classic knock the ball past the defender and run into the defender move, they tend to get given these days, it was well won by Constable rather than a mistake from Charnock in my opinion. The defending from that free kick was awful to be fair but it was lucky on their part as I'm sure there was a deflection in there as well.

Their second free kick was a definite free-kick and Charnock was lucky not to get a card.
