Sounded like a deserved point, could have been more with better defending.

Lets kick on saturday and back this up with a needed win.

Fantastic spirit to get a point after being behind three times, just the kind of character that the fans have been calling for most of the season. Inspired subs by King Sammy, come on you reds!!!

Well done to the 39 that made the trip, after attending the last 11 I was gutted to be missing tonight and not extending the run....I'm even more gutted now.

Listened to the last 20 mins of commentary and we did have a couple of chances to win it at the end.

Taking things one game at a time though, I'm really happy with the point. Looking to the Oxford game, we can be quite optimistic going into that one.

For all you Mullin haters, this is taken from the Northampton Town forum -

EXCELLENT result considering most of us predicted a defeat there tonight.

Let's kick on now on Saturday v. Oxford ! We owe them one from our early season tonking !!

Their message board is also bemoaning the poor attendence tonight. 3,552 for a mid week match. What we'd give to get anywhere near that on a Saturday never mind mid week.

Have you seen the size of this place? One of their fans before the game was grumbling that its been 44 years since they were in the top flight :o
