Need a win in the next week to keep us away from that trap door. I am hopeful of at least 7 points out of 12....

Lose at Northampton
Draw with Oxford
Draw with Macclesfield
Lose to Chesterfield
Not good but I honestly think we will be lucky to get the 2 draws.

I think you'll be hard pushed, during the time I've supported the Shrimps we've always been strong at home and pants away. This season we seem to be still finding our feet at home, so we've reverted to just being pants in general.

In terms of longest winless streaks we almost went down in the 2000/01 conference season, winning just one of our last 16 games, a 2-1 home victory over Donny sandwiched in-between an 8 and 7 game stretch without a win. I wouldn't be surprised if that's up their as our record.

I actually think we are due a bit of luck. We had so many chances on Saturday but failed to convert them. You can tell the players are really anxious on the ball, they are rushing the opportunities that do come their way. We're not scoring the goals that our general play merits, which should have been addressed in the transfer window.

Northampton away - pains me to say it, but lose.

Oxford home - win this one to carry on the same lines as Port Vale and Shrewsbury at home

Macclesfield away - draw. Either 1-1 or 0-0

Chesterfield away - as per Northampton.

We'll lose to Northampton cos we always do. We'll thrash Oxford cos I can't make that match. We'll lose to Macclesfield cos they're not that good but we'll beat Chesterfield cos they're really good!
